Job summary

Reynolds Consumer Products in Wisconsin is hiring for a Machine Technician (Entry Level) to set up, start, adjust, and shutdown extrusion equipment, perform quality checks, and support R&D trials. This is a full-time position with a focus on safety and thorough documentation of daily operations.

Local candidates only. Expect the ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and to train new operators as part of a collaborative production team.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of machine operating experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of extrusion processes.
  • Basic math and data entry; ability to interpret specifications and measurements.
  • Visual attention to detail and ability to distinguish colors and defects.
  • Physical capability to stand, climb, reach, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform required tasks for 12‑hour shifts.
  • Strong desire, dedication, and determination to succeed by continually improving skills through on‑the‑job training.
  • Able to prioritize tasks and work independently under pressure.
  • Previous experience in an industrial manufacturing environment or related area preferred.

  • Collaborate with QA and rerun rejected products when necessary.
  • Conduct daily/weekly housekeeping and equipment cleaning.
  • Change screens, filters, and safely handle approved cleaning agents.
  • Support co‑workers and cover for breaks as needed.
  • Train new operators as directed by leadership.

Pay: $24.40 - $26.00 per hour
