Job summary

Manitowoc Pattern & Machining (MP&M) is seeking a Machine Operator for the 1st shift in Manitowoc, WI. You will operate CNC machinery to produce precision components in a clean, modern facility and follow detailed work instructions.

Ideal candidates value quality, can read and communicate well in English, and can work independently or as part of a team. Training is provided to develop machining skills and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to hear and recognize normal and abnormal machine sounds.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Manufacturing experience is helpful but not required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading materials and parts.
• Reading and following work instructions.
• Using precision measuring tools to verify part quality.

Schedule:

Monday - Thursday 5:00am - 3:00pm

What You'll Do:

• Operating CNC machinery safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading materials and parts
• Reading and following work instructions
• Using precision measuring tools to verify part quality
• Identifying and reporting quality or production concerns
• Maintaining accurate production records
• Using basic shop tools and material-handling equipment
