Job summary

Manitowoc Pattern & Machining (MP&M) is seeking a Machinist for a Fri–Sun, 5:00 AM–5:00 PM shift in Manitowoc, WI. You will set up and optimize production equipment, read process sheets, and develop 3–5 axis tool paths using MasterCam to support high-quality machined parts.

You’ll collaborate with engineering, produce basic 3-D models, and ensure documentation adheres to ISO, IATF, and AS9100 standards. Comfortable with a climate-controlled facility and hands-on training is provided.

Qualifications

• Read and understand process sheets and work instructions in English.
• Ability to apply basic math to machining tasks.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand process sheets and work instructions in English.
• Create 3-5 axis tool paths using MasterCam software.
• Determine cutting methods, cutter types and parameters per material specs.
• Collaborate with engineering to meet quality and design objectives.
• Design basic 3-D models, drawings and specs for tooling and machined elements.
• Comply with ISO, IATF, and AS9100 standards when documenting machine setup.
• Perform general maintenance, cleaning, and organization of equipment and tooling.
