Job summary

Manitowoc Pattern & Machining (MP&M) is seeking a Machine Operator for the 1st shift on weekends in Manitowoc, WI. You will operate advanced CNC equipment to produce precision-machined components in a clean, modern manufacturing environment.

This role features a 3-day weekend schedule (Fri-Sun) from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with 36 hours paid for 40. Training is provided, and teamwork and safety are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Able to hear and recognize normal and abnormal machine sounds.
• Mechanical aptitude with willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machinery safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload materials and parts.
• Read and follow work instructions.
• Use precision measuring tools to verify part quality.
• Identify and report quality or production issues.

What You'll Do:

• Operating CNC machinery safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading materials and parts
• Reading and following work instructions
• Using precision measuring tools to verify part quality
• Identifying and reporting quality or production concerns
• Maintaining accurate production records
• Using basic shop tools and material-handling equipment
• Communicating effectively with supervisors and team members
• Contributing to a safe, productive, and team-oriented work environment
