Qualifications

• Reads job tickets to confirm product size and laminate color.
• Checks priority and examines dates and NCRs.
• Inspects finished product for defects.
• Completes maintenance forms and reports malfunctions.
• Coordinates blade changes and other setup tasks with operators.
• Ensures final product meets laminate quality specifications.

Pay Range: $16 - $21/hr

Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Summary: Sets up and operates machine that applies edging on product

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

• Reads job ticket for product size, checks product, size, color of laminate and quantity.
• Verify or determine which product has priority.
• Examine dates and NCR’s.
• Checks product before running for loose backer and/or laminate
• Examines piece for cracks, chips, and laminate defects
• Must perform and fill out daily, weekly, monthly, and semi-annual maintenance forms, and report any malfunction to maintenance personnel
• Responsible for minor maintenance, and coordinating projects and procedures with operators on other shifts, such as replacing saw blades, cutter blades, scrapers, and buffers as necessary
• Inspect final product for chipped bands, short bands, high bands, and love bands
