California Closets in Tolleson, AZ is seeking a Machine Operator for the 2nd shift. You will set up, operate, monitor wood processing equipment including automated panel saws, edge banders, CNC routing & drilling, and packing lines.

We offer competitive pay starting at $23.32 per hour, plus 10 PTO days, sick days, holidays, a 401K match, health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, and voluntary overtime on Saturdays.

Qualificações

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and interpret basic measurements.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods.
• Able to operate and troubleshoot basic woodworking equipment.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains a clean work area.

Responsabilidades

• Operate wood processing equipment following all safety processes in the facility.
• Produce the required quantity and quality of parts to meet daily production targets.
• Maintain a production log including any errors or rejects.
• Inspect equipment prior to use and perform basic adjustments and maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area throughout the shift.
• Assist with on/off-loading of products such as tables and wood crates daily.
• Ensure storage and handling of materials in the warehouse.

Job Description

The Machine Operator is responsible for the setup, operation, monitoring, and basic troubleshooting of wood processing equipment. This role includes using wood processing equipment such as automated panel saws, edge banders, CNC routing & drilling equipment, and packing equipment.

2nd Shift: M-F1:30P - 9:30P

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate equipment following all safety processes established within the facility.
• Produce the required quality & quantity of parts within established specifications to maximize daily productivity expectations of boards being shipped.
• Maintain a log and records of units produced including a record of errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
• Inspect equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment and perform basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Check products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion and resolve any identified problems and alert line lead.
• Responsible for on/off-loading of products such as tables, rolling racks, or wood crates for eight or more hours, daily.
• Produce quality and error-free work.
• Ensure proper storage of materials in the warehouse.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work in all assigned areas of production and perform relief duties when required.
• Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and use/read a tape measure.
• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, ability to frequently stoop, bend and kneel, often reach with hand and arms and grasp, and be able to constantly stand.
• Need to have visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines and inspect parts produced.
