Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a manufacturing associate to support Mueller operations with production tasks, tool use, and inventory checks. You will help ensure safety, quality, and timely order fulfillment across shifts.

The role requires 18+ and a high school diploma or GED, with overtime and weekend work common. Full-time employees receive medical, dental, and vision benefits from day one, plus PTO and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Reading a tape measure and other measuring devices.
• Quality and Safety inspections of materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment.
• Ability to work with hand tools, wrenches, banding equipment, and nail guns.
• Flexible with overtime and weekends when needed.
• Combination of education and experience may be qualifying.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide customer responsive and efficient manufacturing support activities
• Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely and without damage
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and daily equipment inspections.
• Assist co‑workers and customers
• Quality and Safety Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment
• Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company safety policies.
• Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas
• Assist with inventory control and material tracking when necessary.
• Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment
• Follow all OSHA, company safety, and quality procedures at all times.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• High school diploma or GED required
• Verifiable Dependability and Energetic
• Requires experience with hand tools, wrenches, banding equipment, and nail guns
• Able to read a tape measure and other measuring devices
• A combination of education and experience may be qualifying
• Ability to lift up to 25pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
• Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane
• Flexible with working overtime and weekends when needed

  Additional Information

  This is a position with the potential overtime. The shifts are 8 hours, 10 hours, and 12 hours long depending on work orders for the day and season of the year. Must be able to work O/T and weekends on short notice.
