Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a warehouse associate at our Willis, TX location. You will load/unload materials, operate forklift and overhead crane, and support branch operations in a safety‑driven environment.

Responsibilities include completing orders accurately and timely, assisting customers and co‑workers, inspecting equipment, and helping with inventory updates in the ERP system while maintaining a clean, organized workspace and complying with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift and overhead crane certification required or ability to obtain.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials and products; operate forklift, overhead crane and construction tools.
• Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely and without damage.
• Assist coworkers and customers.
• Inspect materials, machinery, tools and equipment.
• Assist with inventory management including ERP updates.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Move inventory within and among workstations and areas.

JOB DETAILS

Base pay rate is $16.75 per hour

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform material and product loading and unloading activities to support the branch location. In their day‑to‑day duties, they operate a forklift, overhead crane and construction tools
• Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely and without damage
• Assist co‑workers and customers
• Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment
• Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
• Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas
• Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• High school diploma or GED required
• A combination of education and experience may be qualifying
• Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
