Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Warehouse Associate at the Willis, TX location to load/unload materials and support branch operations. You will operate a forklift and overhead crane, assist customers, inspect equipment, and help maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system.

Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED. Certification for forklift and overhead crane operation is required, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift, overhead crane and construction tools to load/unload materials.
• Complete orders safely, accurately, and on time.
• Assist coworkers and customers as needed.
• Inspect materials, machinery, tools, and equipment for safety/quality.
• Assist with inventory updates in the ERP system.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety rules.
• Move inventory within and between workstations as required.
• Adhere to all safety requirements and wear required PPE.

JOB DETAILS

Base pay rate is $16.75 per hour

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform material and product loading and unloading activities to support the branch location. In their day-to-day duties, they operate a forklift, overhead crane and construction tools
• Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely and without damage
• Assist co-workers and customers
• Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment
• Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
• Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas
• Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• High school diploma or GED required
• A combination of education and experience may be qualifying
• Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
