American Berry Company - Machine Operator Position

American Berry Company is seeking skilled machine operators for our day shift. Our operators work on a 2/2/3 12-hour shift schedule, typically working two or three days per week, resulting in a three- or four-day workweek. This role involves maintaining the production line and working with machines such as extractor/infuser systems, filters, evaporators, and dryers to produce sweetened dried cranberries and cranberry concentrate. Food manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform startup, shutdown, and CIP on machines within our production facility
2. Troubleshoot equipment and work to maintain quality and output standards
3. Complete quality and other product testing as required
4. Operate the HMI Control System
5. Maintain accurate and timely paperwork and records
6. Update lead and/or managers on any issues or concerns from the shift
7. Implement and validate SOPs
8. Follow all safety guidelines and lockout/tag out requirements at all times
9. Follow all food safety guidelines and GMP requirements

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of machine operating experience, food manufacturing experience is a strong plus
• Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot machines
• Strong understanding and adherence to safety guidelines
• Ability to lift, push, and pull products weighing around 20-30 pounds
• HMI Systems experience is a plus

Compensation:

$23 - $26 hourly
