Hailiang Copper Texas Inc. is a copper tube processing company with a 500,000-square-foot plant. The project involves building three copper tube production lines. Main products include industrial pipes, pancake pipes for air-conditioning and refrigeration, and small-caliber waterways for construction.

The Copper Tube Operator Trainee with a mechanic background will perform machine operations according to work instructions and specifications, completing production tasks and troubleshooting equipment after training.

Qualifications

1. Work Experience: Experience as a mechanic or machine operator in manufacturing; management of production shift teams is preferred.
2. Education: High School Diploma or GED; an associate degree or higher in mechanical automation, mechanical engineering, or related fields is preferred.
3. Knowledge: Basic computer skills, ability to read production schedules, input data, print labels; proficiency in mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic theories.
4. Skills: Ability to install, assemble, debug, operate, and manage equipment.
5. Abilities: Basic math skills, quick learner, effective communicator, team player, and capable of training and being trained.

Additional Information

COVID-19 precautions: Masks required during visits.

Physical requirements include handling, reaching, talking, hearing, sitting, occasional standing/movement, and lifting up to 70 pounds. Visual abilities needed include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
