Job description

Machine Operator

Location: Onsite – Kohler, WI

Competitive Compensation: $26.37 - $26.42 per hour, plus $1.50 per hour shift premium

Shift: 3rd Shift: 9:00PM - 5:18AM

Your Responsibilities
  1. Program charge types into I-FIX computer systems.
  2. Operate pneumatic chipping hammers, masonry/brick saws, and perform ladle patch/rebuild with refractories.
  3. Manage melt baghouse bag changes, auto-pour furnace chip/patch, and melt furnace maintenance.
  4. Perform melt furnace knockouts, relines, and operate yard cranes and forklifts (certification required).
  5. Adhere to PPE requirements: tinted safety glasses, slip-off safety shoes with metatarsal guards, respirator, coveralls, etc.
  6. Follow production schedules and safety policies.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse experience (preferred).

  • Successful completion of drug screen and background check.
  • Reliable with consistent attendance and work performance.
  • Adherence to safety policies and procedures.
