Job summary

Clarios is hiring a Machine Operator for our St. Joseph, MO facility. You will operate automated and semi-automated machines to produce automotive batteries, perform minor adjustments, and participate in preventative maintenance.

You will also inspect quality, keep production records, and adhere to safety and 5S standards, with opportunities for overtime and shift differentials. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated and semi-automated machines to manufacture automotive batteries.
• Make minor machine adjustments and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks (cleaning, greasing, small part replacement).
• Run quality inspections and maintain production records.
• Follow safety, quality, and production procedures; uphold 5S standards.
