Clarios, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic at our St. Joseph, Missouri facility.

You will troubleshoot and repair machinery, install and service hydraulic systems, and read schematics to keep production running smoothly across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. Qualifications

• Computer skills including Microsoft Office and working on computerized equipment.
• Basic math, reading and writing skills required.
• Able to read schematics and blueprints.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and repairing machinery and facility equipment
• Repairs machines, jigs, fixtures, gauges and fits replacement parts as required
• Must be able to do electrical, plumbing, heating and roofing repairs
• Must be able to read schematics and electronic blueprints
• Must be capable of servicing and operating rectifiers
• Must be capable of operating precision hand tools and electronic equipment
• Adjusts machines for production when adjustment is beyond the scope of operator
• Maintains and installs piping, fittings, valves, gauges and all types of controls for hydraulic systems, gas and air lines
• Requires ability to set up and operate lathe, milling machine, drill press, grinder, power saws, welder, etc.
• Makes periodic checks of machines and equipment and performs preventive maintenance as required; i.e. oils, greases, etc.
• Performs carpentry and sheet metal work in fabricating and repairing benches, guards, boxes, trays, etc.

Job description

Job Title Maintenance Mechanic Location St. Joseph, MO (Pear Street) Shifts: 1st Shift (6:30am-2:30pm), 2nd shift (3:00pm–11:00pm) and 3rd shift (10:00pm–6:00am). Overtime and weekends may be required. Weekend shift +$0.50/hr. Paid weekly on Fridays.
