Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.

• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and safety procedures.
• Enter production data into the ERP system.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace using 5S.
• Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance and engineering teams.
• Meet or exceed daily production goals.
• Contribute ideas and support continuous improvement projects.
• Take on other duties as assigned.

Position Title: Fabrication Technician II

Location: Pataskala, OH

Pay: Up to $19.50/hour to start, plus quarterly wage rate increase opportunities (*10% Shift Differential= $21.45/hr)

Schedule:

1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM; Friday overtime, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:15 PM–2:45 AM; Friday overtime, 2:15 PM–10:45 PM

Type: Full-time, hourly (non-exempt)

Position Summary:

Ridge Corporation is hiring a Fabrication Technician II to join our manufacturing team. If you enjoy hands-on work, running equipment, and solving problems in a fast-paced production environment, this role is for you.

You'll work closely with production, quality, safety, and engineering teammates to keep daily operations running and make sure our products meet company and customer standards.

Manufacturing or machine operation experience is a plus, but we're happy to train motivated people with strong mechanical aptitude, good attendance, and a positive attitude.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow work instructions, production schedules, and quality standards
• Perform quality inspections and verify products meet specifications
• Troubleshoot basic machine and process issues
• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and company safety procedures at all times
• Enter production data accurately into our ERP system
• Keep your work area clean and organized using 5S methods
• Partner with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams
• Meet or exceed daily production goals
• Contribute ideas and support continuous improvement projects
• Take on other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to read basic work instructions and do basic math
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately
• Clear communication and strong time management
• A self-motivated approach, working well both independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to safety and quality

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Prior manufacturing, machine operation, or industrial experience
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

This is a hands-on manufacturing role on your feet for most of the shift.

• Use basic hand and power tools safely
