Position Title: Weld Technician

Location: Pataskala, OH

Pay: $20.50/hour; 2nd shift earns a 10% shift differential ($22.55/hour), plus quarterly wage rate increase opportunities

Schedule:
1st Shift: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM; occasional Friday overtime, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM
2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 4:15 PM-2:45 AM; occasional Friday overtime, 2:15 PM-10:45 PM

Two paid 15-minute breaks and one unpaid 30-minute lunch per shift

Type: Full-time, hourly (non-exempt)

Position Summary:

Ridge Corporation is hiring dependable, motivated Weld Technicians to join our manufacturing team in Pataskala, OH. If you enjoy hands-on work, staying active throughout the day, and working as part of a team to hit production goals, this role is for you.

You’ll work closely with production, quality, safety, and engineering teammates to build high-quality products in a fast-paced environment. Manufacturing or machine operation experience is a plus, but we’re happy to train people with a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a positive attitude.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow work instructions and safety procedures
• Support production operations to meet daily goals
• Operate tools, equipment, and production machinery safely
• Keep your work area clean and organized using 5S methods
• Spot and suggest opportunities to improve our processes
• Follow company policies and safety guidelines at all times

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to read work instructions and use basic measuring tools
• Strong attendance and reliability
• Good communication and teamwork skills, working well both independently and as part of a team
• A motivated, detail-oriented approach and a willingness to learn

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Manufacturing, production, machine operation, or labor experience
• Basic mechanical aptitude
