Job summary

Ridge Corporation in Pataskala, OH is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep our manufacturing equipment running safely and efficiently. You will focus on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvements on automated production lines.

This role supports a 4-day work week with day and second shift options, competitive pay between $30.00 and $33.25 per hour plus overtime. Starting benefits begin on day 30, with healthcare, retirement matching, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across electrical and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and pumps.
• Ability to read and trace electrical/mechanical schematics and blueprints.
• Strong team-first attitude, self-motivation, and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance (PM) and repairs on automated industrial production equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose and perform basic troubleshooting on PLCs and control circuits.
• Maintain and service auxiliary plant equipment, including air compressors, chillers, and boilers.
• Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
• Collaborate with production operators and engineering teams to minimize downtime and drive process improvements.

Schedule:
1st Shift | Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (4-Day Work Week!)
2nd Shift | Monday – Thursday, 4:15 PM – 2:45 AM (4-Day Work Week!)

Overtime Opportunity:
1st Shift | Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
2nd Shift | Friday, 2:15 PM - 10:45 PM

Pay Rate: $30.00 – $33.25/hr base pay

• $33.25– $36.57/hr total earnings with the 10% Shift Differential included!

In this role, you will play a critical part in keeping our manufacturing machinery running safely, smoothly, and efficiently. You will focus on preventative maintenance, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, process improvements, and keeping production lines active.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

• Diagnose and perform basic troubleshooting on PLCs and control circuits.

• Maintain, repair, and service auxiliary plant equipment, including air compressors, chillers, and boilers.

• Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.

• Collaborate with production operators and engineering teams to minimize downtime and drive process improvements.

Qualifications & Skills

Minimum Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across electrical and mechanical systems.

• Practical knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and pumps.

• Ability to read and trace electrical/mechanical schematics and blueprints.

• Strong team-first attitude, self-motivation, and effective communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Welding and fabrication experience is a strong plus.

• Basic PLC ladder logic understanding/troubleshooting.
