Job summary

Ridgecorp in Frazeysburg, OH is seeking a Lamination Operator to join our production team. Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm with two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch. Starting pay up to $19.25 per hour.

The ideal candidate has manufacturing experience with machine operation or maintenance, can follow work instructions, perform quality inspections, and work safely under 5S and LOTO procedures while helping meet production goals.

Qualifications

  • Two years of job related experience including machine operator / maintenance.
  • Overhead crane operation certification within 90 days, on the job if needed.
  • Ability to read English and perform basic math including tape measure.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain laminating machines and related equipment.
  • Follow work instructions and quality checks to meet production goals.
  • Perform Lock Out Tag Out safety procedures and document findings.
  • Monitor output, adjust settings for quality and efficiency.
  • Assist with changeovers and assist material handlers as needed.
  • Enter data in ERP systems and support safety, quality, and engineering teams.

Job Title: Lamination Operator

Location: Frazeysburg, OH

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm

(2) 15 min paid breaks and (1) 30 min unpaid lunch

Pay Rate: Starting up to $19.25/hr

Job Summary:

Candidate must have manufacturing experience with machine operation or maintenance experience. Candidate must be comfortable working in production as part of a team with specific production goals. Previous work experience in a fast‑paced environment, operating machines or heavy equipment to specific measurements or print specifications is required. The person selected will be working directly with other members of the production team, safety, quality and engineering.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
  • Machine operator and/or machine maintenance experience
  • Ability to learn and follow work instructions
  • Perform and adhere to Lock Out Tag Out safety standards
  • Monitor and troubleshoot machines and processes by checking running conditions such as speed of output, pressure, temperatures, wind and unwind tensions to ensure quality and production goals are met
  • Plan, organize and actively participate in activities such as change‑over procedures, instructing material handlers to provide needed materials, recording tags and labels for production rolls/orders while machine is running.
  • Assist with data entry and management through ERP system
  • Perform Quality Inspections and make appropriate decisions with input or advice from the supervisor regarding line speed, quality of product adjustments and machine maintenance.

  • High School diploma / GED preferred
  • Proven commitment to quality compliance and productivity
  • Two years of job related experience required, including machine operator / maintenance
  • Overhead crane operation certification required. Must be acquired on the job within 90 days
  • Ability to identify thermal, electrical and pneumatic concerns
  • Ability to follow work instructions from start up to shut down
  • Knowledge of company safety, OSHA and department policies and procedures including Lock Out Tag Out
  • Good applied interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend basic English and perform basic math functions including reading a tape measure
  • Ability to be self‑motivated
Workplace Experience:

Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.

Ergonomic Requirements:
  • Ability to Stand for Long Periods of Time
  • Ability to use Power Tools safely
