Job description

Position Title: Machine Operator Wage: $23.84/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:50am - 3:20pm Feeling underpaid or undervalued? This could be the position that you deserve! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Machine Operator at a company in Milwaukee, WI. This is a potential to hire position for 1st shift.

Machine Operator Responsibilities:

• Operate setups and may make minor adjustments as authorized by Setup Person to machines and equipment after set up by others
• Use hand and/or powered spring making machines to perform required operation where operating procedures or methods are prescribed
• As required, check work visually and/or with assigned measuring equipment to ensure compliance with specified acceptable tolerance requirements
• Perform bench, hand, attend to automated operation and/or other operations as required, or instructed by the Setup person / supervision
• Inspect work in process to ensure compliance with quality and make authorized minor adjustments or immediately inform the responsible setup person of quality concerns
• Operate equipment and machines such as forming, coiling, bending, kick press, tumblers, grinders and other miscellaneous equipment
• Pack parts into boxes or other containers and label with contents in accordance with instructions
• Locate and move materials and finished products using hand and power hand trucks
• Detect and report defective materials or faulty operation, and refer questionable matters to proper personnel
• Maintain work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Follow prescribed safety regulations
• Maintain work area in a clean and orderly fashion and conform to all quality and safety procedures

Requirements for Machine Operator:
