Job summary

Responsibilities

• Review daily schedule with supervisors/leads.
• Obtain batch sheets/formula sheets and process check sheets from Supervisor.
• Obtain ingredients/labels/materials per batch sheet/formula specs.
• Verify materials match batch sheet items.
• Inspect production equipment for cleanliness, allergen issues and foreign objects.
• Complete machinery setup/shutdown per batch sheet.
• Mix/cook batches or wrap product to spec per formula.
• Monitor equipment to stay within process parameters.
• Perform quality inspections and checks.
• Communicate with co-workers and work cooperatively.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and practice good housekeeping.
• Perform daily safety checks on all equipment.
• Document calculations for formulas, usage, and waste.
• Recognize and report safety issues.
• Perform changeovers with Food Safety and GMP adherence.
• Rotate into Packer role as needed.
