Job summary

QPS Employment Group is seeking a Machine Operator for a position at a company in Random Lake, WI. The role is a potential to hire on 3rd shift with a 10:00pm–6:30am schedule, Sunday to Thursday, at $23.00 per hour.

The Machine Operator will handle beverage filling lines, packaging equipment, and related processes. Strong attention to safety, quality, and GMPs is required, along with the ability to read and follow instructions and work as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of QMS, food safety standards, and GMPs.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Stand/walk for 8-10 hours in a fast-paced environment; lift/move 50 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

• Operate all assigned equipment following safety standards, quality requirements, GMPs, and job specs.
• Monitor beverage filling equipment, packaging lines, depalletizers, and stackers for optimal performance.
• Perform start-ups, changeovers, and shutdowns safely and efficiently.
• Report mechanical issues to maintenance and leadership promptly.

Machine Operator Responsibilities:

• Operating all assigned equipment in accordance with safety standards, quality requirements, GMP's, and job specifications
• Monitoring and operating beverage filling equipment, packaging lines, de-palletizers, and stackers to ensure optimal performance and product quality
• Performing equipment start-ups, changeovers, and shutdowns in a safe and efficient manner
• Conducting routine inspections and identifying mechanical issues; promptly reporting concerns to maintenance and leadership
• Performing clean-in-place and sanitation procedures to maintain hygiene and food safety standards
• Accurately documenting production data, machine settings, downtime, and quality checks per protocols
• Ensuring all finished products meet company quality standards for volume, labeling, packaging, coding, and appearance
• Troubleshooting minor equipment issues and making necessary adjustments to minimize downtime and maintain production flow
• Monitoring production lines for jams or material issues and taking corrective action as needed
• Assisting with proper line setup and ensuring correct materials are used
• Performing regular case inspections to verify product quality and compliance
• Maintaining clean and organized work area
• Supporting team operations across production lines as needed to ensure smooth workflow
• Completing all required documentation accurately and thoroughly

Requirements for Machine Operator:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred

• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong attention to detail with ability to quickly identify and resolve issues
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to get forklift certified
• Ability to stand/walk for 8-10 hours in a fast-paced environment; lift/move 50 pounds frequently
