The Machine Operator effectively operates most machines on the floor, including packaging machinery, cob lines, and bulk packaging machinery. This position is located at the Lakeside Foods Packaging Center.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct maintenance work on packaging line equipment, including lubrication, adjustments, and cleaning.
2. Maintain and set up machinery, ensuring proper operation.
3. Examine poly and cartons to ensure specifications are met.
4. Maintain proper palletizing and verify pallet tickets for accuracy.
5. Report line operations via computer or paper.
6. Supervise and assist in training line personnel.
7. Adhere to company policies and procedures.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous quality control experience preferred.
• Effective communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 35 lbs.
• Safety-conscious mindset.
