Kelly Services is seeking a Machine Operator in Kirkville, NY to support premier manufacturing client operations. The role offers a steady full-time schedule with a starting pay of $18.00 per hour and a daytime shift from Monday to Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm.
You will load materials, monitor equipment, inspect parts, log data, maintain tools, and follow strict safety policies while contributing to a clean, safe work environment and reliable production.

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $18.00 per hour
Shift: M-Thur 6am-4:30pm

Loading production equipment with raw materials and ensuring proper feed mechanism operation
Monitoring machine operation and reporting any irregularities to experienced operators or supervisors
Verifying part quality by measuring parts according to inspection plans and entering SPC data
Alerting Quality Control or supervisors about any concerns regarding part quality
Maintaining and lubricating machine tools and equipment as needed
Completing all required paperwork including routing cards, tool change logs, and count sheets
Properly identifying parts and entering production data into information systems
Moving parts to proper locations after machining and verifying quality
Communicating essential information for smooth shift transitions
Performing minor tool adjustments/changes as necessary to maintain part quality
Maintaining a neat and orderly work area and performing daily safety inspections
Have a high school diploma or GED
Possess short-term trade schooling or on-the-job training
Are exposed to factory environments and eager to learn machine operations
Can lift up to 35 lbs frequently and occasionally up to 50 lbs
Are comfortable with continual standing, walking, bending, stooping, and repetitive motion
Can read and understand blueprints and inspection plans
Are able to use precision measuring gauges (micrometers, calipers) and hand tools
Are able to use computers for production data entry
Are committed to following safety policies including PPE, lockout/tag out, fire response, ergonomics, and proper lifting
