Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Machine Operator to work at Cooper Standard in Fairview, MI. We have two shifts available to fit your schedule.

You will operate machinery safely and efficiently, read specifications, perform housekeeping, and support teamwork while upholding health and safety standards. Starting pay is $16.91–$18.04 with potential increases upon permanent placement and OT opportunities.

Pay Rate: $16.91- $18.04

• 2nd shift; 4:20pm-2:50am (Mon-Thurs with potential OT)

• Starting Wage: $16.91

• Upon being hired to full-time perm at approx. 4 to 6 months: $17.49 and 1 year from that date $20.20

• Weekend shift; 6am-6:30pm (Fri-Sun with potential OT)

• Starting Wage: $18.04

• Upon being hired to full-time perm at approx. 4 to 6 months: $18.67 and 1 year from that date $21.68

What’s a typical day as a Machine Operator? You’ll be:

• Operating machinery safely and efficiently to build parts according to the manufacturing plan

• Reading and interpreting specifications; following verbal and written instructions to ensure quality

• Performing housekeeping to maintain cleanliness, and adhering to all health and safety standards

• Supporting teamwork, continuous improvement initiatives, and upholding plant regulations

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Are at least 18 years of age

• Are comfortable lifting up to 30 pounds and standing for up to 10 hours

• Are focused on safety and quality in all tasks

• Are willing to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment

• HS Diploma/GED NOT required
