Kelly Services in South Windsor, CT is seeking a Machine Operator I to operate high-speed, automated equipment and support production orders to deliver printed materials. The role offers a $19.50/hr wage with weekly pay in a premier manufacturing environment.

The shift is Wednesday–Friday, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM with mandatory overtime, and training is provided to develop technical skills for handling high-speed production lines.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-speed insertion equipment and other automated machinery.
• Interpret production orders to determine job requirements.
• Maintain quality of finished products and perform preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Assemble printed materials into final products and distribute them to designated locations.
• Set up and operate computer-controlled machinery for cutting, binding, inserting, labeling, stitching, and trimming.

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $19.50/hr | Weekly Pay

Shift: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday w/ rotating Saturday | 6:00PM - 6:00AM + mandatory overtime

What’s a typical day as a Machine Operator I? You’ll be:

• Operating high-speed insertion equipment to insert statements and client output
• Interpreting production orders to determine job requirements before executing printed output
• Maintaining the quality of finished products and performing preventative maintenance and authorized repairs
• Assembling printed materials into final products and distributing them to designated locations
• Setting up and operating automated, computer-controlled machinery for tasks such as cutting, bursting, binding, folding, inserting, labeling, stitching, and trimming
