Job summary

Closets by Design Chicago Downtown is seeking a motivated Machine Operator/Factory Worker to join the production team. You will operate woodworking machinery and hand tools, follow assembly standards, and maintain equipment according to a schedule.

Ideal candidates have woodworking experience, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a valid driver’s license. Weekend work is not required. Open doors with the owner and a strong safety mindset are valued at the shop.

Qualifications

• Experience in woodworking or cabinet-making preferred (32mm systems).
• Experience with woodworking equipment and hand tools is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Some prior Woodworking experience is preferred but not required.
• Must have valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
