Job summary

Closets by Design Chattanooga is seeking a Production shop/CNC operator to join our team. You will operate CNC machinery and hand tools to produce custom cabinetry and organizational systems according to specifications, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

Training will be provided, and prior experience in woodworking or cabinet-making is preferred. You will learn our product lines, installation techniques, and uphold clean, safe work practices in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• We will train you to produce quality custom closets, garages and home organizing systems.
• Experience in the woodworking or cabinet-making fields preferred (32mm systems).
• Experience with woodworking equipment and hand tools is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently, including a CNC.
• Produce and assemble custom cabinetry and organizational systems according to specifications.
• Understand company product lines, machinery, assembly standards, and installation techniques.
• Follow quality control procedures to ensure products meet company standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Additional tasks or projects as defined by the Production Manager.
