Machine Operator / CNC Operator

Pay: $19 to $21/hr. based on shift and experience.
Location: Canonsburg, PA

Shift Options:

3rd shift - Mon - Thurs 7:30 pm - 5:30 am

Job Summary

The CNC Operator will set up, program, and operate CNC milling machines to fabricate metallic and non-metallic parts that meet engineering specifications.

Main Job Duties

• Set up, edit, and operate Haas CNC machining centers
• Verify and document work conformance using precision measuring instruments
• Use computer programs such as Syteline and Dispatch throughout the shift
• Adhere to all company policies, guidelines, and practices
• Communicate with Quality, Engineering, and Supervision as required
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of CNC machining experience
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with InventorCAM post-processing

Skills and Abilities

• Interest in G-codes and programming
• Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, and sketches
• Proficiency in shop mathematics
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work within close tolerances
