The Staff Management | SMX team in Pittsburgh, PA is hiring a Food Manufacturing Machine Operator. Join our factory team to assist in manufacturing chocolate, protein bars, and granola bars. The pay rate ranges from $15.78 to $20.60 per hour, with weekly paychecks, health benefits, and more.

Shift Options:

• A Shift: 7am to 3pm
• B Shift: 3pm to 11pm
• C Shift: 11pm to 7am

Must have reliable transportation

Job Responsibilities:

• Measure and mix dry ingredients according to recipes
• Safely handle large sacks of ingredients and transport them
• Operate industrial mixers and equipment
• Transport mixed ingredients to the manufacturing line
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas
• Troubleshoot machine issues
• Keep accurate production records
• Operate and monitor machines
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices
• Use personal protective equipment and perform preventive maintenance
• Inspect products for quality
• Assist with repairs and inspections

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of experience in food production or warehouse environment
• Ability to lift heavy sacks and perform physical tasks
• Strong attention to detail
• High school diploma or GED
• Basic math skills

Additional Requirements:

• HS Diploma or GED
• Background Check
• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Drug Test
• Stand for the shift duration
• Minimum age 18
