Pay: $24-$36/hr + $2/hr shift differential plus O/T

Shift: Monday-Thursday, 5pm-5am

Location: Douglassville, PA

Position:

Production Machine Operators will be responsible for the safe and efficient production of paver and block equipment. This individual must be mechanically inclined and capable of learning how to adjust, troubleshoot, repair, and operate machinery in the facility.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Operate production equipment to meet production needs while maintaining high product standards.
• Produce assigned products following verbal and written instructions.
• Complete equipment setup procedures and perform preventative maintenance.
• Use tools and measuring devices to maintain, adjust, and repair equipment.
• Accurately prepare all necessary production and maintenance reports daily.
• Dismantle and reassemble heavy plant components using hoists and hand tools.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
• Perform minor repairs on equipment and refer issues to maintenance to avoid delays.
• Follow established policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Report product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions to shift managers during handovers.
• Wear personal protective equipment as per training guidelines.
• Operate a front-end loader and forklift when needed (training provided).
• Perform general labor duties as required.
• Conduct daily cleaning and inspection of mixers and equipment.
• Adhere to lockout/tagout procedures.
• Follow Techo-Bloc’s Vision, Mission, and Values.
• Assist in daily operations and perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• 3-4+ years of experience in automated production or line leadership roles.
• Experience leading front-line teams.
• Strong data-driven approach, with ability to communicate performance metrics and motivate employees.
• Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge is a plus.
• Experience in manufacturing concrete and related equipment (e.g., Masa, Hess, Omag, Columbia, Rekers, Besser) is preferred.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years in a similar fast-paced manufacturing role.
• Position-specific experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Self-motivated, autonomous, proactive.
• Interpersonal skills.
• Flexible with work hours, including nights and weekends.
• Organized, adaptable, professional.
• Basic computer skills; knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

Must frequently lift and move items up to 75 pounds, occasionally up to 80 pounds. Ability to inspect materials and identify color variances among products. Must be able to remain stationary or move throughout the facility, reach with hands and arms, and ascend/descend steps and ladders.
