Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical units or fabricated parts to create sub-assemblies or complete products within routine and repetitive assembly operations.
• Use hand and power tools, operate equipment including jigs, dies, fixtures, punch presses, riveting machines, circular shears, and drill presses.
• Cut, file, fit, punch, ream, rivet, form, and assemble components.
• Fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts to meet specifications.
• Monitor product and raw material quality.
• Read simple blueprints.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery.
• Identify and correct minor machine malfunctions.

Qualifications

• Typically 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work under broad supervision.
• Job titles may include Press Operator, Machine Operator, Maker/Packer.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay Range: $14.80 - $22.20 per hour.
