Job summary

II Stanley Co. in Battle Creek, MI is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift. The position reports to the Maintenance supervisor and focuses on preventive maintenance of equipment, oil and liner changes, cleaning, and 5S practices to keep production running smoothly.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and mechanical experience; preferred qualifications include reading PLC/robot programming and electrical experience, plus good communication skills.

Qualifications

Mechanical experience is essential for daily PM tasks.
Reading PLC/robotic programming is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on equipment daily, including oil/liner changes and filter changes.
Maintain 5S, cleaning, cathode changes/rebuild, and overall equipment upkeep.

Shift 3rd

Reports to Joe Barnebee

Basic Functions:

Under the direction of the Maintenance, the Maintenance PM Tech will be responsible for Preventive Maintenance of Equipment on a daily basis. PM tasks- Oil/liner changes, Cleaning- vacuum/scraping/grinding, Cathode changes/rebuild, 5s, Filter changes. Position is subject to 30 day review.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school Diploma/GED
Mechanical experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Pass Mechanical Aptitude Test
Good Communication Skills
Preventive Maintenance Experience
(VTI) Experience
Electrical experience
Molding/Coating experience
