Job summary

birmsearchgroup is seeking a skilled technician to perform preventative maintenance and repairs of machinery in Electronics Assembly in Battle Creek, Michigan. Candidates should possess strong mechanical aptitude and basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Responsible for preventative maintenance and repair of the machinery in Electronics Assembly
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, etc.
• Must have good communication skills
• Must be able to work with technical support groups for troubleshooting equipment issues
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair printed circuit boards to component level
• Available for daily and weekend overtime
• Experience with IA and other robotics programming and problem-solving.

Required Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Basic electrical knowledge
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems
• Basic understanding of hydraulic systems
• Three (3) + years in a technical or mechanical position

Optional/Preferred Skills

• Five (5) + years in a manufacturing environment
• Pass Mechanical Aptitude test
• Preventative maintenance experience
• VTI experience
• Molding and coatings experience
• PLC/Robotics programming

Education Required

High School Diploma or GED
