We have an exciting opportunity for a MACHINE MAINTENANCE MECHANIC at our PROVIDENCE, RI location.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and install production/manufacturing equipment.
• Inspect equipment for proper functioning and perform preventative maintenance per manufacturer's specifications.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and make necessary repairs or adjustments.
• Perform breakdown analysis.
• Perform general housekeeping.
• Upgrade production lines with new equipment and technology as needed.
• Collaborate with outside contractors when necessary.
• Comply with GMP, safety, and audit standards.
• Work independently with limited supervision.

Necessary Requirements

• Experience with mechanical systems such as gearboxes, chains, sprockets, motors, seals, and bearings.
• Ability to read and apply product manuals for repairs.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, including hydraulics and pneumatics.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience with electrical systems, compressors, electronics, gearing, hydraulics, kinematics, PLCs, pneumatics, pumps, schematics, and robotic motors.
• Experience working in team environments.

Working Conditions

• Work near noise and chemicals.
• Physical activities include lifting, climbing, standing, walking, crouching, and kneeling.
