Job Summary:

The Maintenance Mechanic repairs and maintains mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical equipment as needed in all hospital-owned property. Performs other maintenance activities and assists all trades in conjunction with construction.

Specifications:
  • Graduation from high school or vocational school.
  • Two years of general maintenance experience.
  • One month of on-the-job training to learn the location of equipment, supplies, and the hospital layout.
  • Must possess a valid Medical Card.
  • Proficient in the English language.
  • This position is physically demanding, often requiring heavy lifting and working outside normal hours, including emergency calls.
  • Working conditions may be extremely hot, cold, dirty, or wet, with some exposure to major and minor hazards.
