SMS Staffing Inc is Hiring Immediately for a Skilled Machine Maintenance Mechanic

Job Title: Machine Maintenance Mechanic

Job Location: Mukwonago, WI, U.S.A.

Job Type: Direct Hire

Pay: $19.50 - $30.00/hr. depending on experience

Shift Structure: 2nd Shift: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM, Monday to Friday

About the Machine Maintenance Mechanic Role:

Responsible for learning and performing preventative maintenance on all injection molding machines, including auxiliary equipment. Reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform repair and construction operations to install, maintain, or modify machinery and auxiliary equipment under general supervision.
2. Diagnose and remedy operational problems; disassemble, inspect, and overhaul injection molding machine components.
3. Assist higher classified Mechanics in correcting machine issues.
4. Consult with Mechanics or Supervisors on repairs and parts replacement.
5. Fit and align precision mechanisms, drives, bearings, etc.
6. Layout and install molding machines and equipment.
7. Assist contractors with major plant installations or expansions.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in installation and maintenance of machines and process equipment.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, heat, electrical controls, etc.
• Related education and/or experience equivalent to 2-3 years of trade school training plus 1-3 years of work experience.
