Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a Machine Helper in Raleigh, NC. This 1st shift, full-time, hourly role supports the Operator, assists in machine setup and production, and ensures orders meet specs.

The position emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a non-climate-controlled environment. Responsibilities include following safety policies, maintaining a clean area, training crew members, and performing routine data entry.

Qualifications

• Must be able to assist the operator in completing the mechanical set up.
• Must learn to operate feed, print, die cutting and delivery sections of the machine.
• Willing to be trained as an operator for vacations, sickness, etc.
• Reasonable knowledge of current production software.

Responsibilities

• Follow and ensure fellow crew members adhere to safe work policies and procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Assist in ensuring proper mechanical setup and running of the machine.
• Ensure orders produced meet specifications provided.
• Maintain acceptable production rates.
• Complete all paperwork and data entry as required.
• Assist in training crew members.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
