Pratt Industries in Simpsonville, SC is hiring a Machine Helper for the 1st shift. This full-time, hourly role supports the Operator and helps run the machine to meet production specifications.

You will follow safe work policies, maintain a clean work area, assist with setup and operation, and help train crew members. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package after set timeframes and a path to additional responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must assist the operator in completing mechanical set up and learn feed, print, die cutting, and delivery sections.
• Willing to be trained as an operator for vacations, sickness, etc.
• Basic knowledge of current production software is preferred.
• Strong communication, math, and problem-solving abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Follow and enforce safe work policies and procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Assist in proper mechanical set up and running of the machine.
• Ensure orders are produced according to specifications.
• Maintain acceptable production rates.
• Complete all required paperwork and data entry.
• Assist in training crew members.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
