Job summary

Pratt Industries in Simpsonville, SC is seeking a Machine Helper to support the machine operator and assist in manufacturing processes. This full-time, hourly role offers hands-on training and exposure to die cutting and delivery sections as you grow into an operator.

You will help maintain safety, quality, and production targets, complete paperwork, and participate in team training. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred and commitment to learning is essential.

Qualifications

• Assists the Operator in overseeing all aspects of machine operation.
• Willing to be trained as an operator for vacations, sickness, etc.

Responsibilities

• Follow and ensure that fellow crew members adhere to all applicable safe work policies & procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Assist in ensuring the proper mechanical set up and running of the machine.
• Assist in ensuring that all orders produced are completed according to specifications provided.
• Maintain acceptable production rates.
• Complete all paper work and data entry as required.
• Assist in the training of crew members.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
