Job summary

Pratt Industries in Nashville, TN is seeking a Machine Helper to assist the Operator with machine operation and to serve as the Operator when needed. This entry-level, hourly role offers on-the-job training and a starting pay of $16 per hour.

You will follow safe work policies, maintain a clean, safe work area, help with machine setup and ensure orders are produced to specification. Benefits include insurance within 1 month, 401k with partial match after 3 months, and paid vacation after 6

Qualifications

• Follow safety policies and procedures in a manufacturing setting.
• Learn to operate feed, print, die cutting and delivery sections.
• Willing to be trained as an operator for vacations or sickness.
• Basic knowledge of current production software.

Responsibilities

• Follow and ensure crew adheres to safe work policies & procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Assist in proper machine setup and running.
• Help ensure orders meet specifications provided.
• Maintain acceptable production rates.
• Complete all paperwork and data entry as required.
• Assist in training crew members.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
