Job summary

METRIX IT SOLUTIONS INC is seeking an experienced IT administrator to manage macOS and Windows devices across the enterprise. You will deploy, configure, patch, and troubleshoot OSes and applications while ensuring security and a high-quality end-user experience.

You will provide Tier 2/3 desktop and endpoint support in a mixed-OS environment, automate workflows with Bash/Zsh, manage ABM, device enrollment, inventory, imaging, and lifecycle processes, and collaborate with IT Security and Service

Qualifications

• 3+ years of enterprise macOS/Windows administration.
• Strong macOS architecture, security, administration, and troubleshooting knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with Apple Business Manager and MDM solutions.
• Experience with Jamf Pro, Intune, Kandji, or similar endpoint management tools.
• Bash or Zsh scripting proficiency.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals and identity management.
• Experience supporting mixed macOS/Windows environments.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer macOS and Windows devices using MDM platforms such as Jamf Pro, Microsoft Intune, and Kandji.
• Deploy, configure, patch, maintain, and troubleshoot operating systems and applications.
• Enforce endpoint security policies, including FileVault, malware protection, encryption, and OS compliance.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for Mac and Windows hardware, software, OS, and application issues.
• Automate device administration and deployment workflows using Bash/Zsh scripting, scripts, and configuration profiles.
• Manage Apple Business Manager (ABM) and enterprise Apple device enrollment.
• Maintain device inventory, licensing, asset tracking, and lifecycle management.
• Perform workstation imaging, provisioning, configuration, and deployment for new hires and replacement devices.
• Troubleshoot hardware failures, operating system issues, application errors, user accounts, and connectivity problems.
• Provide hands-on support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, AV equipment, and other peripherals.
• Support identity and access integration with Azure Entra ID, SailPoint, or other Identity Providers (IdPs).
• Collaborate with IT Security, Service Desk, and other infrastructure teams.
• Document technical standards, procedures, troubleshooting guides, and support processes.
• Follow enterprise security and compliance requirements.
