Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Specialty Artist – MAC to maximize MAC brand sales by engaging guests, performing makeup applications, and delivering expert product knowledge. You will maintain guest relationships, support in-store events, and stay updated on brand promotions to drive service and sales in a dynamic beauty environment.

The role requires professional makeup artistry skills, strong guest service, and the ability to learn and communicate product benefits across MAC and Ulta Beauty brands.

Qualifications

• Cosmetics artistry experience preferred.
• High school diploma preferred; cosmetology license preferred.
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships and provide excellent guest service.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed MAC brand sales and service goals and contribute to store goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with a growing guest list and follow up on inquiries.
• Provide personalized makeup applications, skincare analyses, and lessons to guests.
• Remain informed on promotions and brand initiatives and communicate to guests.
• Book appointments and support services and in-store events for MAC and Ulta Beauty.
• Stay current on industry trends and product knowledge to better serve guests.
