Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Specialty Artist – MAC to maximize sales by engaging guests, performing makeup applications, and delivering expert product knowledge. You will support store events, build a loyal guest portfolio, and uphold standards across MAC brand and Ulta Beauty.

Ideal candidates have cosmetics artistry experience, a HS diploma or cosmetology license, and strong communication with guests. Must be flexible for a busy retail schedule and brand trainings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• Cosmetology or demonstrator license where required by state law.
• Cosmetics artistry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed MAC brand sales and service goals.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ensure each guest receives exceptional service.
• Conduct makeup demonstrations, applications, and lessons.
• Study Skill Certification requirements and complete as appropriate.
• Inform guests about promotions and initiatives.
• Book appointments and support in-store events for MAC and the store.
• Stay informed on industry trends and product ingredients.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
