Job summary

Superscript is seeking an IT Support Technician to be the first point of contact for colleagues’ technology needs. You will ensure devices, access and systems are ready, troubleshoot issues, and work with the IT Operations Specialist to maintain security posture.

You’ll support teams across London, Glasgow and Rotterdam and a hybrid workforce, delivering hands-on support and clear guidance. Ideal for someone who loves helping people and growing a career in IT.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT support, service desk or helpdesk.
• Experience with Apple/Mac devices in a business setting.
• Familiarity with SaaS apps such as Google Workspace, Slack or similar.
• Basic understanding of SSO, MFA and good security practice.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Zendesk).

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for IT requests via in-person, Slack, and ticketing systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, access and connectivity issues.
• Log, prioritize and track requests to resolution with regular updates.
• Escalate complex issues to IT Ops or external vendors with clear notes.
• Set up, deploy and manage company Mac devices for joiners and leavers.
• Maintain IT asset and device inventories and stock levels.
• Support onboarding/offboarding and SSO/MFA setup.
• Promote security awareness and assist with phishing responses.
• Create and maintain how-to guides and support documentation.
