Job summary

The U.S. Department of State, GPA — Office of Video Production, in Vienna, VA, seeks a Production Applications System Administrator to coordinate between live production, creatives, and IT infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of dedicated experience in Windows, Linux and MAC OS computer systems administration, desktop technology support, and specialized video application support.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field; Certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide desk-side and remote technical support to editors, producers, and creative staff on macOS workstations.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve application-level incidents involving Adobe Creative Cloud, Frame.io integration, Google Workspace, and related tools.
• Manage user accounts and access permissions across GPA platforms (AD, Creative Cloud, NAS, etc.).
• Oversee workstation image deployment, app installation, and driver updates for high-performance video rendering.
• Manage testing of updates and hardware changes prior to deployment and replicate configurations in test environments.
• Respond to trouble tickets during normal and surge periods to ensure uninterrupted workflows.
