Digital Consultants LLC is seeking a Video Production Applications Systems Administrator to support the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Global Public Affairs.

You will coordinate live production, manage macOS-based workflows, and ensure interoperability between on‑prem editing and cloud infrastructure. The role requires expert macOS administration, experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and Frame.io, and strong IT security and network skills.

Qualifications

• Moderate Risk Public Trust or DOD Secret Clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, engineering, or related field
• 3–5 years of dedicated Windows, Linux, and macOS administration and video application support
• Expert-level macOS desktop administration in a professional media network environment
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, Frame.io, Google Workspace, and broadcast asset management tools
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based architectures (AWS S3/EC2) and Active Directory federation
• Understanding of network firewalls, VLANs, SSL certificates, and IT security compliance
• Strong leadership and ability to train editors, producers, and junior staff
• Ability to travel to other worksites and work in office environment for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Provide desk-side and remote support to video editors on macOS workstations
• Diagnose and resolve incidents in Adobe CC, Frame.io, and Google Workspace workflows
• Administer accounts and permissions across GPA platforms including AD and NAS
• Manage workstation images, plugin configurations, and driver updates for high‑end video editing
• Test software updates and maintain a test environment mirroring current configurations
• Respond to trouble tickets to protect broadcast and post‑production continuity
• Maintain NAS servers, LAN components, and device certificates
• Support network engineering activities and OSI model concepts
• Develop production asset management practices and maintain asset tags in CheqRoom
• Provide emergency live-broadcast and high‑priority support during surge periods
• Create system architecture diagrams and prepare monthly status reports for COR
