Job summary

Slipstream is seeking a Mac Desktop Support Engineer to join our team in South San Francisco for a 6+ month contract. You will provide desktop and end-user support in a primarily macOS environment and deliver high-touch, white-glove service to internal users.

You will troubleshoot across macOS, Google Workspace, Windows/AD, and Microsoft 365, manage onboarding/offboarding, and administer macOS devices through MDM. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

3–5 years in Desktop/IT Support or End User Services.
Experience supporting biotech/pharma regulated environments.
MacOS hands-on support with MDM (Jamf/Kandji).
Familiarity with Google Workspace administration.
Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure AD/Entra ID, and virtual desktop environments.
Strong verbal/written communication; customer-first mindset.
Experience using IT service management platforms (ITSM).

Responsibilities

Provide desktop and end-user support in macOS environment.
Deliver high-touch, white-glove support with strong customer service.
Troubleshoot in mixed environments: macOS, Google Workspace, Windows/AD, Microsoft 365.
Manage onboarding/offboarding, device provisioning, account setup.
Administer macOS devices via MDM (Jamf/Kandji).
Monitor IT support queue and resolve issues promptly.
Share support interactions across the org and collaborate with teams.
Support security tooling: CrowdStrike and related tools.
Support AI tools usage (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini).
