Job summary

Monticello High School is seeking a licensed EL and Spanish teacher to provide full-time direct instructional services for secondary multilingual learners. This 1.0 FTE role requires a current Minnesota secondary teaching license, with an EL license preferred.

The successful candidate will support the district mission, engage diverse learners, and maintain confidentiality of student information while utilizing CLR-informed practices.

Qualifications

• Current secondary teaching license for the State of Minnesota.
• EL License preferred.
• Understanding of the Minnesota Academic Standards for content area.
• Establishes a culture for learning by supporting the mission, beliefs and the strategic plan of the district.
• Inspires and engages all students in relevant learning.
• Maintain confidentiality of information about students, staff and families.
• Experience working with diverse students and families - CLR methods preferred.
