Job summary

State of Missouri is seeking a Systems Administration Technician in Jefferson City to design, deploy, and administer SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365 Teams, and Power Platform. You will work with IT management and other units to implement governance and ensure compliant content.

The role requires a degree, experience with SharePoint/Teams/Power Platform, and the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical staff. Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and AI tools is valued.

Qualifications

Associate or bachelor’s degree; Information Technology preferred.
Experience with SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams and Power Platform Administration.
General knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate and Power Pages.
Working knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure and Server Administration.
Fundamental understanding of AI Tools, Operations and Security.
Experience with project management and best practices.
Proven ability to take initiative, multi-task and prioritize.
Ability to adapt to changing work demands and think critically.
Ability to mentor, coach, and develop staff.
A successful background check is required for employment.

Responsibilities

Support Enterprise SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365 Teams and Power Platform functional areas.
Create and configure SharePoint and Teams sites.
Promote knowledge, growth, and collaboration through cross-training.
Help develop and promote technical and security standards.
Establish and maintain relationships with ITSD and business partners.
Work with the ITSD Network Operation Center to provide outage reports until resolved.
Monitor platform performance and enforce governance policies.
