Job summary

Virginia Farm Bureau is seeking a Microsoft 365 Administrator to manage and secure its collaboration environment for ~1,000 employees across offices in Virginia. You will oversee Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Groups, ensuring high availability, governance, and user productivity.

Responsibilities include governance, troubleshooting, and cross‑functional collaboration with Security, Service Delivery, and product owners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience administering Microsoft 365 collaboration platforms in an enterprise environment.
• Hands-on experience with SharePoint Online administration, including intranet support
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and Microsoft 365 Groups
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex platform issues affecting distributed users
• Experience documenting standards, procedures, and operational processes

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Microsoft 365 services across VAFB, including Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
• Configure tenant settings in alignment with security, compliance, and governance standards.
• Monitor service health and troubleshoot incidents affecting offices and users.
• Manage feature changes and communicate platform updates.
• Administer SharePoint Online site collections, hubs, permissions, and storage and support intranet operations.
• Enforce governance and external sharing policies for insurance/regulatory environment.
• Provide Tier-2/3 support and develop runbooks and documentation.
